Initial consultation
(brief / site meeting / fee proposal)
Prior to us meeting we ask that you fill out a questionnaire on our contact page briefly telling us about your project. We then arrange a call to discuss the brief and take the time to learn about how you wish to use the property, your personal style and lifestyle. We will then build a picture of the project through a site visit or floor plan and photographs, to ensure that we understand all factors such as timescale, budget and any structural or administrative requirements. Following this thorough briefing stage we will send a proposal to you outlining the brief as we understand it, including a full scope of works and our associated design fee, for you to review and ask any questions. Only when you have approved the proposal will we progress with your project.
Design stages
Concept
Here we interpret the detailed brief and present the concept designs, consisting of floor plans illustrating the proposed furniture layouts and mood board presentations illustrating colour and visuals of suggested style concepts for the property.
Detailed design
Having approved all of the concept designs we progress to the design development and detailed design stage. All final bespoke joinery, furniture, lighting and interior architecture drawings will be presented for approval, along with all final finishes, artwork and dressing items. At this stage we will also present a fully itemised breakdown of costs in line with the agreed budget and start scheduling the project.
Realisation
Once the schemes, drawings and schedule of works have been agreed, work will start. We will coordinate with architects, building contractors and tradespeople whilst also liaising with suppliers, ordering all furniture, lighting, soft furnishings and accessories. We will attend regular site meetings to ensure the designs are being carried out to the exact specifications and that the project is progressing as planned. We will keep you updated throughout as well as overseeing any snagging.
Installation and styling
When the time has come and your project is nearing completion, it is time for us to complete the final stage of the process: perfecting the detail, installing the furniture and carefully hanging and placing the artwork and accessories, ensuring you get a seamless and perfect end result allowing you to relax and enjoy your property.
