This stunning first floor apartment in the heart of the Lake District allows the owner to enjoy open-plan living right on the doorstep of their thriving business.
We designed a functional open-plan space, with clever storage for coats and boots, working closely with our local kitchen suppliers to design an excellently crafted colourful kitchen. This special project also saw us enlisting the talented furniture makers at Davenport Original, commissioning a bespoke coffee table made using local slate from the Burlington stone in the Lake District.
Each area of this apartment has been carefully planned to maximise function with distinct zones, layered with colour and textures to bring comfort and personality and using the highest quality finishes to ensure longevity. The artwork within the property is personal to the clients travels. The use of the colour blue reflects the clients taste and also knits together the zones from the kitchen units, through to the armchairs and coffee table in the living area and the dining chairs in the dining area.
