Laura

Laura brings a unique blend of experiences to her interior design work. With a background rooted in fashion, honed over many years during her time living in the vibrant city of London, she has developed an eye for elegance and a passion for blending tradition with contemporary flair.

When she moved back to the north in 2015, Laura worked for an established interior design studio, where her previous experience of design, product development, sourcing fabrics and trims, supplier liaison and building strong working relationships set her up for a great start in interior design. She has worked on high-end interior design projects in both the residential and commercial sectors, leading projects from concept to completion.

Now settled in Kendal alongside her partner and young son, she embraces the rich cultural heritage and beauty of her surroundings. From the rolling hills to local craftsmanship, she finds inspiration in the authenticity of her environment. Laura believes that interiors should not only be aesthetically pleasing but also functional, liveable, stand the test of time, encompass both comfort and practicality, and be tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.

Steph

Steph has a background in hospitality and years of learning from family property projects. This has led to a keen understanding of practicality and function in interior spaces. Her creative passion led her into working in an architects’ practice learning technical CAD skills whilst studying a degree in interior design.

She then worked in a soft furnishings company for a number of years, gaining a wide understanding of fabrics and window treatments, before joining an established interior design business in the Lake District, working on a variety of premium projects across the north of England.

Steph draws inspiration from nature, favouring natural textures such as wool and linens, timber and stone. These give an authenticity as well as depth and cosiness to a space.
